JAPANESE BEADED HANDBAGS
These Japanese beaded handbags are created by Master Reiko Matsukawa who now shares her 30 year beading experience, travelling from Japan to the Japanese Embroidery Centre in Atlanta each year. I am currently teaching beading side by side with the Traditional Embroidery. The beading is easier to master and uses techniques of Japanese embroidery. These beautiful bags are constructed by the embroidery student with the teacher’s help and may be sent to the Centre to be made up. Although students should be capable of constructioning the simpler bags by themselves, for the more complex phases it is advisable to have a professional make it up at Kurenai kai Japan.
